Sure, it’s nice to have a partner to cuddle with, but relationships can also be terrible. You probably worry about being lonely or growing old alone. You may even feel jealous whenever a sweet couple passes by you. However, there are also good things about being single. Do you want to know about them?
Here I am pointing out some basic facts about single life, hope you can relate….

       1. You have more time to discover who you are.

Being single you have more time for yourself. It gives you the freedom to explore life more. You may be happier than being in a relationship.
“One of the most important relationships you will have is with yourself,” says Zarrabi. “Being single can provide a valuable opportunity to learn about your likes/dislikes, embrace your authentic self, and explore hobbies or activities you’ve been itching to try.”

       2.You sleep better

Being free from a sleep kicker is not only more comfortable, but it can lead to a big health benefit. A survey by Amerisleep found that, among participants, single people slept better than even people in happy relationships. Being single you have less tension about your partner and more time to sleep.

       3. You have less financial stress.

Being single may mean you’re more socially and financially free.

According to a study, single people are less likely to have credit card debt, coming in at about 21%. On the other hand, 27% of married couples without children and 36% of married couples with children had credit card debt. When you are single you don’t have to worry about going dates, marriage, shopping or parties.

       4.Having more sex

Just to throw this out there, single people are having sex more often than married people are, according to an analysis of survey data collected from more than 26,000 people between 1989 and 2014.

       5. You learn about yourself.

“Being single, you’ll learn to value your freedom, make decisions for yourself, and become more accountable for your choices, actions, and goals,” says Russell Thackeray, Ph.D., a clinical psychologist in the UK.
If you are single You can learn about yourself. You can learn about life. You can lead your life according to your choice.

       6. You get to spend more time with your friends and family.

When we get a lover or partner sometimes we give them more importance than our family and friends.being single, you get to devote more attention to your family. Whenever you get time use that time to serve your parents and bond with your siblings. Also, you get to spend time with your friends more. You can know them better and can make your friendship strong.

Being single is great. But the most important thing, really, is that if you’re hoping to have a happy relationship with a long-term partner in the future, you have to learn how to be happy being single first. As RuPaul says, you have to love yourself before you can let someone else love you.
